Description:   Oinochoe with low flaring ring foot, broad flat resting surface, slightly rounded undersurface, articulated from foot by groove. Tall ovoid body with max. diam. at H00.12-00.122, tall neck with concave profile, continuing into flaring trefoil rim, round lip. Vertical strap handle attached to shoulder and lip. Body dented slightly on one side at time of manufacture. See Corinth VII.I N23 (W-14): EG? Identical with C 2002 040.
Decoration:   Resting surface and undersurface reserved. Exterior black glazed with reserved band at H00.143, with reserved stripe flanking zigzag band. Interior reserved. Handle: horizontal bars down back with vertical stripe along either edge. See Corinth VII.I N23 (W-14). Identical with C 2002 040.
Material:   Fine white to pale yellow clay with rare fine voids.
Munsell Color:   5Y 8/2 (white) to 5Y 7/3 (pale yellow)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Numerous joining frgts., basically complete except for at least 5 small holes in body, surface chips. Glaze worn.
