Description:   Corinthian A transport/storage amphora with vertical spined handle.
Writing:   stamp. Near base of handle, shallow seven-petalled palmette with one preserved vertical volute. Similar to C-76-117 (Koehler diss 1978, no. 175).
Material:   Coarse light redclay fired gray at core with common large-v. large spherical, platy, angular, rounded black; few medium-v. large spherical, rounded white lime; few quartz; frequent mudstone; rare fine sparkling inclusions; common platy, angular voids.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 2.5YR 6/6 (light red); core: 10YR 5/1 (gray)
Condition:   Fragment. Single fragment preserving two thirds of handle with lower attachment and small part of body.
