Description:   Transport/ storage fractional amphora with ovoid body with the max. diam. above the median, cylindrical neck with groove at upper handle attachment and indentation between groove and rim, flaring outward thickened rim with rounded lip, vertical strap handles attached on shoulder and immediately below rim. Similar to Koehler Diss. 1978, nos. 290, 291, 294.
Material:   Fine light reddish brown clay with few medium rounded spherical lime inclusions, rare rounded dark reddish brown inclusions, and few voids.
Munsell Color:   Between 10YR 7/6 and 7.5YR 7/6
Condition:   Fragment. Several joining frgts., preserving 1/4 of upper body, 1/2 of neck, 1/3 rim, one complete handle, and 2/3 of second handle. Wheel ridges on interior, trace on exterior.
