Description:   Round-mouth pitcher (Pitcher I by Edwards) with concave bottom with deep indentation (H. 0.007); ovoid body with maximum diameter well above median of body; squat cylindrical neck rising to flaring rounded lip; vertical strap handle attached above maximum diameter of body. As C 1947 472 (Corinth VII.3, p. 141, no. 727, pls. 34, 63).
Decoration:   Wheel groove along exterior edge of lip.
Material:   Coarse, light red clay with few to frequent, small to very large, spherical sub-rounded to angular white, rare small to medium angular black inclusions. Few small spherical voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 6/8 (light red)
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining fragments preserving 4/5 bottom, 3/4 body, 1/3 neck, 1/4 rim, and lower handle attachment. Traces of burning on exterior bottom and one side of body below handle.
