Description:   Stewpot with spherical body, flaring rim with squared lip, interior flange for lid at bottom of rim; vertical strap handle attached near maximum diameter of body rises up vertically to lip; horizontal round handle attached at upper part of body rises diagonally away from the rim. As C 1940 29 (Corinth VII.3, p. 124, no. 657, pls. 28, 61).
Decoration:   Prominent wheel marks on body below rim.
Material:   Coarse red clay fired dark gray at core and exterior, with frequent small to v. large spherical sub-rounded to angular white, rare medium spherical to tabular angular red inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 2.5YR 5/6 (red), Core: 5YR 4/1 (dark gray)
Condition:   Fragment. Numerous joining frgts., preserving 1/5 body, 3/4 rim, one handle, handle roots of second handle.
