Description:   Trefoil mouth oinochoe with concave base, slightly convex undersurface, flat resting surface, globular body, cylindrical inward tapering neck, trefoil rim with tapered lip, vertical strap handle attached to shoulder and rim.
Decoration:   Self slipped and black glazed over all; reserved undersurface and resting surface. Set of three reserved lines just below max. diam., second set immediately below handle frames wide reserved band on shoulder that reaches up to base of neck; band decorated with four cross-hatched triangles alternating with a series of eight dots vertically aligned framed by slanted vertical black lines. On the base of the neck four reserved lines. Handle reserved on underside except for single brushstroke; horizontal bars on upper side of handle with black lines along the sides. Similar, but not identical, to CP 868 (Corinth VII.1, p. 18, no. 63, pl. 10) and C 1937 5 (Corinth VII.1, p. 27, no. 76, pl. 12).
Material:   Fine yellow clay fired very pale brown at core with rare medium to large sub-rounded white lime inclusions, and common large angular voids.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 10YR 8/6 (yellow), Core: 10YR 8/4 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Vessel intact except for tiny chip from lip. Glaze well-preserved.
