Description:   Large skyphos or small krater with flaring ring foot, flat resting surface, slightly convex undersurface, ovoid body, tall flaring rim with rounded lip, horizontal canted loop handles round in section. Similar to Pfaff, Hesperia 68, 1999, p. 96, fig. 27.
Decoration:   Black glazed over all interior and exterior. Resting surface and undersurface of foot reserved, reserved band around exterior and interior rim, reserved space between handle roots.
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with few medium to very large rounded spherical and platy white lime inclusions and few medium voids.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 10YR 8/4 (very pale brown), Core: 10YR 7/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact except for small fragment mended on rim and five chips missing from the rim, three cracks on rim. Glaze preserved on exterior and interior with stripes worn off.

Findspot Description:   Vessel was found south of the sarcophagus within the cave - like niche of GR 2006 - 4. It was found inside krater C 2006 5 with plate C 2006 3 sitting in it.
