Description:   One-piece kantharos with ovoid body, tapered lip, vertical double round handle with Herakles' knot as thumb-rest attached below lip and at upper body. Profile as C-1931-206 (Corinth VII.3, p. 76, no. 380, pls. 15, 52).
Writing:   graffito. Inscribed on interior, Greek, in four lines, beginning of lines preserved on left, broken off on right: IA . / [M]HN[M]SKONT. / PINAKAHROI. / LIBANONERSE.
Material:   Fine pale yellow clay with rare medium red and black inclusions and voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5Y 8/2 (pale yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Numerous joining fragments preserving one-eighth rim, one-fourth body, one handle. Most fragments from 6993, 7 pieces from 6988, and 2 pieces from 7298. Glaze well-preserved.
