Description:   Amphora with rounded base, ovoid body with max. diam. above median curving into rounded shoulder, wide cylindrical neck slightly flaring, flaring rim, rounded lip, horizontal loop handles double-spined, set up at angle on shoulder. Similar in some respects to C-1937-2296.
Decoration:   Wheel-ridging covers all of base and body, and runs around middle of neck.
Material:   Coarse very pale brown clay with frequent large to very rounded white lime, angular large to very large mudstone inclusions and rare medium voids.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining fragments preserving complete profile, 10% bottom, 50% body, 50% neck, one handle. RIP. One fragment from 6882. Burning on inner surface.
