Description:   Local bowl imitating Eastern Sigillata B Hayes Form 80, with flaring ring foot, domed undersurface, flat resting surface, convex body, flaring rim, rounded lip. Cf. C 1984 184, C 1985 3, C 1985 50, for ESB prototype.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with rare medium sparkling, black inclusions and voids.
Munsell Color:   Clay: 5YR 6/6 (reddish yellow), Slip: 10R 5/8 (red)
Condition:   Complete profile. Five joining frgts preserve complete profile, small part of rim and body, half foot. Slip worn off.

Chronology:   80-150 A.D. for ESB form 80 based on Hayes, Sigillata Orientale, 1985, p. 70. But from Ephesos data it goes up to 200 A.D. The local imitation should date later than that (Kathleen Slane).
