Description:   Amphora with sloping shoulder and tall cylindrical neck. Long vertical handles, oval in section, attached to shoulder and upper neck. Similar to Athenian Agora Object P-21793.
Writing:   dipinto. Dipinto in Greek, at junction of neck and shoulder, two lines. First line: [not preserved] T(?) R. Second line: [not preserved] XON.
Material:   Fine red clay, fired reddish brown at core.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 2.5YR 5/8 (red), Core: 5YR 5/3 (reddish brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Numerous joining frgts. preserve 90% shoulder, both handles. Possible single non-joining frgt left in Lot 2011-36. White lime patches adhering to small parts of surface. Only small part of dipinto preserved.
