Decoration: | White slip on almost all of exterior except for the base and for a height up to 0.06 on lower body. Thick dark yellow glaze, with patches of brown glaze, on upper body to max. diam., lip and handle. Smudges of glaze on lower body. | |
Material: | Fine, medium hard, light brown clay. 3% pale yellow (0.5-1.5 mm)angular, spherical;1% white (0.25-1.5 mm) angular, tabular; 1% black (0.25-1.5 mm) subrounded, spherical inclusions. Rare, regular smooth voids. Smooth, conchoidal break. | |
