Description:   Pitcher with globular body and shoulder, conical neck flaring out slightly to tapered lip. At junction of neck to body, a strainer mouth, with seven holes, six radiating, one at centre. One vertical handle, oval in section, attached at neck and shoulder.
Writing:   graffito. Vertical graffito on shoulder reads left to right from top to bottom. UFKYRIETETHI or, perhaps, USIKYRIETETHI Nonalphabetic marking above. Ligatures abound. Perhaps, very tentatively, ''…O Lord, place/establish'' (Read by Kyle Mahoney)
Material:   Medium hard, fine, red clay. 3% white (0.25-1.5mm) subrounded, spherical inclusions. Few, thin elongated voids. Conchoidal break
Munsell Color:   2.5 YR 5/6 (red)
Condition:   Fragment. Numerous joining frgts preserve half of body, nearly complete neck and lip. One complete handle. Missing base.
