Description:   Hayes LRC Form 2A shape, wide plate or shallow basin, but fabric and slip are different. Broad flared rim, flat on top, with faint seam where meets body wall and outer edge; rounded edge, with very slightly concave underside transitioning smoothly into straight flaring vessel wall.
Decoration:   Red slip on interior.
Material:   Hard reddish yellow clay, rare small white and mica inclusions, thick slightly metallic slip on top of rim and interior vessel only, outer rim and underside not slipped
Munsell Color:   Core: 5YR 7/8 (reddish yellow), Slip: 2.5YR 5/6 (red)
Condition:   Fragment. 1 fragment, 8% of rim and upper edge of body wall. Conchoidal chips along edges, rim.
