Description:   Vertical handle of transport amphora; handle oval in section; rectangular stamp on upper part of handle (L. 0.041, W. 0.014) with legible 5-letter inscription with ligature, similar to CP-1815 and C-1937-2951.
Writing:   stamp. Horizontal inscription stamped on handle vertically, read from top to bottom, left to right, in Greek: ZAKYN. A and K ligature.
Material:   Coarse very pale brown clay with spherical rounded and spherical tabular voids.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 10YR 8/4 (very pale brown); Core: 7.5YR 7/3 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., broken at both ends, minor chip along edge of stamp and along breaks at top and bottom of handle.
