Description:   Basin (FS 294). Large shallow ring base, convex body to squared rim slightly outward thickened, very inward thickened. Two horizontal handles oval in section attached on rim.
Decoration:   Exterior slipped and polished, one band at base, one band at mid-body and one band at rim which runs over the backs of the handles. Interior may be monochrome, some traces of paint.
Material:   Fine buff clay with some grit
Munsell Color:   Surface: 2.5 Y 8/3 (white/pale yellow), Core: 2.5 Y 8/2 (white), Paint: 7.5 YR 5/8 (strong brown) to black
Condition:   Complete or intact. 22 fragments preserve complete vessel with 5% of body missing
Dimensions Actual:   H. 0.096 to 0.098, Diam. of rim 0.254 to 0.257, Diam. of base 0.107
