Description:   Plate with very low ring foot, groove in resting surface, flat undersurface with 2 grooves; straight flaring body rising at ca. 25 degrees.
Decoration:   White slip over all; belly and hindquarter of animal to left (Morgan: horse), above scaly monster. Circles on animal body, snake has dashes. Cream slip over all.
Material:   Moderately fine pinkish-buff to buff clay, with numerous tiny black inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Near 5YR 7/6
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., 1/4 foot, floor, start of body.
