Description: | Small tankard. Lower half of body globular, upper half almost cylindrical but flares to slightly rounded flaring lip.Two vertical handles. Similar to Lerna III tankard form 2 type 1 (p. 279-281) | |
Decoration: | Lower body has incised decoration consisting of parallel horizontal lines on either side of tiny incised triangles. Incised lines are continuous under handle to other side. In center zone, two sets of lines enclose triangles whichh run down from the horizonal lines obliquely, forming an upside down V pattern. Lines and triangles or wedges originally filled with white. | |
