Description:   Small Pyxis. Flat base, squat globular body. Very short wide neck and rounded outturned lip. Lip pierced with two holes just above one handle. Two small horizontal lug handles at widest part of body, each with two vertical pierced holes. Similar to Lerna vol. III, form XVIII
Decoration:   Exterior surface coated with semi-lustrous paint (7.5 YR 5/6 (strong brown) to 7.5 YR 4/1(dark gray)), possibly Urfirnis.
Material:   Very coarse gritty clay with black inclusions
Munsell Color:   Surface 5 Y 6/2 (light olive grey), Core 7.5 YR 6/2 (pinkish grey)
Condition:   Complete profile. 19 joining fragments preserve all of base, 90% of body, 1/3 of rim, 2 handles
