Description:   Flaring ring foot, tall ovoid body tapering to articulated, short and wide neck, broad outturned rim flat on top. Two horizontal loop handles set vertically with handle plates.
Decoration:   Bands on foot, heavy rays on base of body, bands of black and purple, figured zone: 2 animal friezes, lower: lion r., goat l., lion l., sphinx r., goat l., lion r., goat l. Upper zone: two horses and riders r., warrior kneeling l., looking r., horse and rider l.; three horses with riders l. On shoulder, narrow lotus-palmette design. Neck glazed. On rim, lotus-palmette. On handle plate, 2 sirens facing. By the Memnon Painter.
Material:   Buff Corinthian clay, flaking black glaze, red paint.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Mended from several frgts., preserving complete vessel except for few pieces.
