Description:   Vapheio cup. Flat base, nearly cylindrical lower body with a raised ridge 1/3 of the way up body, flaring upper body with relatively straight sides. One small vertical strap handle from rim to 1/3 of way down body. FS 224 type 2
Decoration:   Exterior is slipped and painted. One band between base and ridge, one band at ridge, main zone between ridge and rim is a slightly diagonal formal foliate band (FM 64) made up of three parallel horizontal lines with short vertical strokes on top of bottom of outside lines. Rim is painted on exterior and interior. Handle has short oblique lines. Interior is slipped.

Condition:   Fragment. 11 joining fragments preserve none of base, 2/3 of body, 3/4 of rim, all of handle
