Description:   Cup with flat bottom, body contracting slightly then flaring with nearly straight profile to rounded lip. Vertical strap handle attached from upper body to lip. FS 224 type 3
Decoration:   Dull red-brown paint: bottom: band around outer circumference; body: band at base; below handle row of foliate pattern of short strokes, 2 bands below, 2 above, 2nd foliate band, stripe on exterior, interior of lip; handle of handle painted. FM 64 (foliate band).
Material:   Fine buff clay with rare tiny voids.
Munsell Color:   Surface 7.5YR 7/4, Paint 10 R 5/6 (red) to black
Condition:   Complete profile. Seven joining frgts., complete profile except center bottom; ca. 1/3 bottom, 3/4 body to lip, handle preserved; glaze worn. RIP.
