Description:   Cup of Vapheio shape. Flat base, lower body almost cylindrical, upper body conical. Flaring lip. One vertical strap handle attached at rim and just below rim. FS 224; LH IIA type 3.
Decoration:   Exterior slipped and matt-painted. Lower body decorated with 4 parallel bands of dark brown paint; shoulder zone decorated with series of backward 4-bar sigmas. Thin uneven rim band inside and out. Band on top of handle down its length.

Munsell Color:   Surface: 10 YR 8/4 (very pale brown) Core: 7.5 YR 8/3 (pink), Paint 7.5 YR 4/3 (brown) to black
Condition:   Complete profile. 4 joining fragments preserve 1/3 of base, 1/3 of body, 1/5 of rim, 1 handle
