Description: | Krater with ring base, max diamter at mid body below zone, flattened and almost squared rim. | |
Decoration: | Wet-smoothed and slightly lustrous surface; paint is generally dull black. Monochrome interior. Deep band at rim out, 2 bands framing thin band below narrow zoone, band on lower body, band at base. In zone, on smaller fragment, leg and lower body of bird; on larger fragment, part of flower flanked on the right by rear of a bird's (or fish's) body including triangular tail, triangular hatched wing, and solid body. The paint in the zone of the larger fragment has to a large extent disappeared and finer details of the decoration are unsure, but the general scheme is clear. | |
