Description:   Cup, FS 215. Haollowed raised base, semiglobular body with flaring rim and single narrow flattened vertical strap handle from rim to mid-body.
Decoration:   Monochrome interior. Band at rim out. Handle appears to have been painted with a band along each edge leaving a thin line in reserve at the top of the handle near the rim.
Material:   Fine clay with small pieces of dark red grit which "smeared" when the unpainted exterior surface was wet-smoothed.
Munsell Color:   Fracture: 7.5 YR 6.5/6 (reddish yellow); unpainted surface: 7.5 YR 7/6 (reddish yellow); Paint 2.5 YR 5/8 (red)
Condition:   Complete profile. 7 sherds mended into 4 non-joining fragments (base fragments = 4 joining). Full profile preserved. Ca. 95% of base, 50% of body, 40% of rim, and top and bottom stumps of narrow flattened vertical strap handle preserved.
