Description:   Globular jug. Broad neck, globular body.
Decoration:   Paint is red to dull black. Band at base of neck, 2 bands on shoulder. At one point, a tassel is pendent from the beck band- this would presumably have been opposite the single vertical handle.
Material:   oatmeal fabric with large amount of relatively large pieces of black grit
Munsell Color:   Fracture: 5 YR 7/6 (reddish yellow); interior surface: 2.5 Y 8/4 (pale yellow); exterior surface: 5 Y 7.5/2 (white/light gray); Paint: 2.5 YR 4/6 (red) to dull black
Condition:   Fragment. 3 large non-joining fragments mended from 40 sherds (neck = 4 sherds; shoulder = 14 sherds; main body = 22 sherds). None of base or lowest part of body, 65% of upper body and shoulder, 25% of neck, none of rim, and none of handle preserved.
