Description:   Deep bowl, FS 284. Ring base with heavy carinated exterior profile, deep bowl, flaring rim, and no trace of horizontal loop handles. Very thin walled.
Decoration:   There appears to have been a slip, the outside surface being slightly lustrous. Paint is streaky, slightly lustrous and black. Monochrome interior! Medium band at rim out.
Material:   Fine clay
Munsell Color:   Fracture: 7.5 YR 6/4 (light brown); Slip/exterior 10 YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Mended from 12 sherds. Full profile preserved (except for handle). All of base, ca. 25% of body, ca. 10% of rim and no trace of handles preserved
