Decoration: | Exterior has been smoothed. Paint has almost entirely disappeared, but when then, seems to have held better. 3 bands on shoulder, 2 bands on lower body. Pendant from neck and partially crossing shoulder bands is large "tassel" with 3 thin straight arms. Pendant from shoulder bands and 90 degrees around the circumference of the vase from the first tassel is a second tassel with short fat curved arm. At a level slightly above lower body bands and roughly below first tassel is a thickening of the body wall indicating the imminence of a horizontal loop handle. | |
