Description:   Deep bowl, FS 284. Flaring rim.
Decoration:   Paint is lustrous and varies in color. Surface is lustrous and wet-smoothed. Rim painted, line below rim in and out, disintegrated tricurved arch (4) with stemmed spiral fill in zone.

Munsell Color:   Fracture: 2.5 YR 6/6 (light red) becoming 10 YR 7/4 (very pale brown) towards surfaces; Surface: 10 YR 7/4 (very pale brown); Paint: 3.75 YR 5/6 (red/yellowish red) to 5 YR 3/2 (dark reddish brown)
Condition:   Fragment. 1 rim and 2 body sherds which join. Profile preserved to lower part of zone. Very small percentage of total vase preserved.
