Description:   Deep bowl, FS 284. Flaring rim.
Decoration:   Exterior is lustrous and wet-smothed. Monochrome interior. Medium band at rim out, 2 bands below zone. In zone, hollow centered antithetic spirals flank panel (3 and 4) with broad vertical zigzag fill.
Material:   fine clay with some fine grit
Munsell Color:   Fracture: 10 YR 6.5/2 (light brownish gray) becoming 2.5 Y 6.5/2 (light brownish gray/light gray) near surfaces; Surface 2.5 Y 6.5/2 (light brownish gray); paint: 10 YR 3/2 (very dark grayish brown)
Condition:   Fragment. One large fragment. Full profile not preserved. None of base, ca 20% of body, ca. 25% rim and no handles preserved.
