Description:   rim and lug handle fragment of large, deep jar (for type, see the complete vase CP 130). Parially preserved horsehoe lug handle below cordon.
Decoration:   Plastic decoration in form of cordon decorated with oblique slashes below rim out. Horizontally burnished on interior and above applied cordon on exterior; area of plastic decoration roughly smoothed.
Material:   coarse clay with traces of mica, occasional large and a good deal of finer grit
Munsell Color:   Fracture: 7.5 YR 5/0 (gray) becoming 5 YR 5/3 (reddish brown) near surface; interior surface: 7.5 YR 5.5/4 (brown/light brown); exterior surface: mottled, 3.75 YR 6/6 (light red/reddish yellow) and 2.5 YR 4.5/0 (very dark gray/gray)
Condition:   Fragment. single rim fragment preserving part of horseshoe lug added below plastic decoration in form of cordon bendean rim.
