Description:   Probably a fragment from a carinated bowl.
Decoration:   Horizontal burnish in and out.
Material:   Coarse micaceous clay with a good deal of fine grit and several large pieces of white grit
Munsell Color:   Fracture: 2.5 YR 4/0 (dark gray); interior surface: 2.5 YR 3/0.5 (very dark gray); exterior surface: same as interior except with a patch of 5 YR 4/3-4 (reddish brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single carinated body sherd from open shape presrving neither rim, base, nor trace of handle.
