Description:   Large jug (FS 110) with flat base slightly concave, ovoid body, short wide neck with flaring rim. One vertical strap handle from rim to widest diameter of body.
Decoration:   Exterior slipped and painted; one band at base, one band at base of neck, short oblique strokes across top of handle. Base of handle probably painted solid. Interior band at rim.
Material:   fine, hard buff clay , pink in the center
Munsell Color:   Surface 10 YR 8/4 (very pale brown), Core between 10 YR 7/3 (very pale brown) and 5 YR 8/4 (pink), Paint 2.5 YR 4/2 (weak red) - 4/4 (reddish brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. 35 joining fragments preserve 1/2 of base, 1/2 of body, 3/4 rim, 90% of handle
