Description:   Late Neolithic four-legged vessel. Black burnished? Offset rounded rim. At back bottom are swellings in direction of 2 legs and small part of articulation for one at right rear. From right side of vessel. Interior rough-smoothed.
Decoration:   Interior traces of white wash; exterior burnished from grayish black to dull salmon irregularly. Band of crusted red paint at rim offset; thinly incised cross hatched band, white filled, running perpendicularly from rim to area of right rear leg.
Material:   Semi fine fabric. Frequent white and dark mdeium and large angular and subrounded inclusions. Fired orangey-buff at core. Smokey-gray to orangey-pink surface layers.
Condition:   Fragment. Three joining frgts., mended together, preserving rim and body; broken all around except at rim. Worn.
Period:   Late Neolithic
Findspot Description:   Additional join with C 1931 535 from New Museum.
