Description:   Late Neolithic four-legged vessel. Foot would have been angled with leg swelling upwards. Surface towards front burnished black, towards rear rough and smoothed.
Decoration:   Red crusted and white slips. Few incised strokes preserved, but no clear pattern.
Material:   Fine fabric. Rare small medium dark and light subrounded inclusions. Fired light pale brown core through gray to black surface layers.
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving leg; broken all around at top and front and sides. Portion of lower side, rear surface preserved. Small portion of toe preserved.
Period:   Late Neolithic
Findspot Description:   Kosmopoulos K series. K 9 86. Probably from excavations for museum, 1931. Lot K-Series. FIB 594, no. 110
