Description:   Deep basin. Flat base, carinated body, carination just below rim, small outturned lip. Large horizontal lug handle attached at carination, pierced vertically, triangular in section.
Decoration:   Exterior and interior slipped and burnished; slip 5 YR 6/6 (reddish yellow) to black.
Material:   Semi-fine gritty porous clay
Munsell Color:   Unslipped surface: 10 YR 8/4 (very pale brown) and 7.5 YR 8/4 (pink) Core: 7.5 YR 7/1 (light gray)
Condition:   Complete profile. 10 joining fragments preserve 2/3 of base, 1/2 of body, 1/2 of rim, 1 handle stub
