Description:   Spatheion amphora with narrow solid toe, widening to tall nearly cylindrical body, which widens slightly to shoulder; short steep shoulder offset by circumference groove, cylindrical neck with groove at 00.048 m. below lip; above this neck flares to heavy downturned rim with convex profile and lip. Two vertical strap handles, widening somewhat from bottom toward top, attached to base of neck and upper circumference groove. Body covered with vertical ripples running full length. Decoration:   Cream slip (?) on upper body to rim.
Material:   Clay fired red at toe core, orange to brown surface, many sand-like inclusions, few fine white.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/6 (surface) ca. 2.5YR 5/5 (core)
Condition:   Missing parts. Intact except for end of toe
