Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, rounded resting surface, recessed flat undersurface. Start of wide flaring body.
Decoration:   White slip on interior, with incised lion: shoulders, top of one foreleg and neck to head. Faces rt., with head turned back. Round eye framed by 2 arcs, mouth open, relatively long scaley neck with hatched mane, body scraped away. Yellow glaze on interior, thinlyl washed on exterior.
Material:   Moderately coarse light brown clay with frequent small white inclusions., voids.
Munsell Color:   Paler than 5YR 6.5/5
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., 1/4 foot, floor, start of body.
