Description:   Goblet (FS 254). Deep globular body with a small flaring tapered lip. Two vertical strap handles attached at rim and ca. 1/3 the way down the body.
Decoration:   Ephyraean type decoration. Exterior covered in a thick creamy yellow buff slip. Body decorated with a single large lily set vertically on each side of vessel (FM 9 no. 6). The lily has volutes and three stamen, one of which goes all the way down to the base of the flower in a railroad track-like pattern. There are two sets of wavy lines which curl up from the base of the flower. Beneath each handle is a set of three parallel chevrons, the uppermost of which comes to a point which has a small horizontal line across it. Interior unslipped.
