Description:   Shallow bowl with flat bottom, 2 thin base rings, echinoid body, low inward slanting rim, tapered round lip. Juncture between body and rim marked.
Decoration:   Bottom: rosette; ring of lotus leaves, over which and upside down, row of acanthus leaves, fillet, band of elaborate acanthus sprays; narrow band of egg-dart between fillets. Rim plain. Red glaze over all.
Material:   Fine light red clay with rare very fine white inclusions, mica.
Munsell Color:   5YR 5/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Two joining frgts., complete profile, nearly half bottom, 1/4 body to rim.
