Description:   Skyphos with low ring foot, wide flaring body with convex upper profile, low flaring offset rim. Two horizontal handles, round in section, set at maximum diam, tilted. De Vries: Middle Geometric I.
Decoration:   Foot and lower half body glazed, upper half reserved. Two horizontal reserved lines setting off handle panel. Panel bordered either side by groups of 5 vertical lines, 2 oblique; panel, 3 zigzag lines, short vertical bars from apices of outer zigzags to top and bottom of panel. Two reserved lines on rim, 1 inside rim. Handles: 2 horizontal lines with short bars between.
Material:   Reddish buff clay with slight impurities, light to dark reddish brown glaze.
Condition:   Complete profile. Mended from many fragments, missing part of body, l. handle. RIP.
