Description:   Aryballos with broad flat bottom, nearly biconical body with carination at middle, small cylindrical neck, wide flat outturned lip, band handle. De Vries: Middle Geometric I.
Decoration:   Lower 2/3 body glazed; 2 reserved lines set off reserved handle zone with 5 cross-hatched triangles; four stripes on neck, black line around lip. Horizontal bars on handle.
Material:   Light buff clay, fine lusterous black and dark brown glaze.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Fragment of lip and neck missing, otherwise complete.

Period:   Middle Geometric (825-750)
