Description:   Oinochoe with ovoid body, curving into low rounded shoulder, wide short neck curving into trefoil mouth, round lip. Vertical strap handle on shoulder.
Decoration:   Body glazed with reserved band below shoulder; on black glaze are groups on W-R-W lines. Animal frieze shows a procession of lions alternating with panthers, to rt. in order of panther, lion, lion, panther, lion, panther. Panthers have faces frontal, lions profile. Carefully drawn with some incision, purple on necks. No filling ornament. On shoulder incised tongues, alternately red and yellow. Remainder glazed. Amyx: By the Shambling Bull Painter.
Material:   Fine buff clay.
Munsell Color:   10YR 7/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining fragments, preserving upper half body to rim; missing part of shoulder, half rim, lower body and foot, handle. RIP.
