| Decoration: | Body glazed with reserved band below shoulder; on black glaze are groups on W-R-W lines. Animal frieze shows a procession of lions alternating with panthers, to rt. in order of panther, lion, lion, panther, lion, panther. Panthers have faces frontal, lions profile. Carefully drawn with some incision, purple on necks. No filling ornament. On shoulder incised tongues, alternately red and yellow. Remainder glazed. Amyx: By the Shambling Bull Painter. | |
