Description:   Antefix attached to semi-cirular cover tile. Face decorated in relief with 11-petaled palmette, edges cut roughly to mirror petals; central petal taller, others slightly drooping, all smooth and convex. Petals radiate from centrally placed face with rounded forehead, deeply hollowed eyes, projecting round cheeks, snub nose, and flat chin. Beneath face are two double scrolls curling from base of face to edge of surface and then curling back up towards the palmette. Below scrolls are two small palmettes flanking a lotus (?). Two small palmettes have equal sized rounded petals radiating from a heart resting on edge of scroll. Lotus is upside down with two drooping petals rising from heart which rests at junction of scrolls. Back is flat with vertical finger strokes. parallel:FA-1998-002.
Decoration:   Patches of white slip over entire face, best preserved at upper right of palmette.
Material:   Moderately coarse pinkish-tan clay with fine to coarse sub-rounded and angular gray inclusions and occasional white inclusions.

Condition:   Joining frags., preserving complete height of face, missing both corners, chips on face and tip of palmette; broken at juncture to cover tile
