Description:   Low pentagonal antefix forming end of cover tile. Decoration confined to band along top of face, leaving narrow triangle at base reserved. Field outlined by relief line on all sides. Within frame is low relief decoration: two large tendrils curving up and out from center, ending in scroll which curves up and in twice. In center above juncture of tendrils is a small 3-petal palmette with straight oval-shaped petals, oval heart.
Decoration:   Surfaces thinly slipped. Ghost of paint on tendrils, relief frame but color not clear.
Material:   Coarse green clay with very dense amount of fine to coarser (to 4mm.) black mudstone in
Munsell Color:   Paler than 5Y 7/3
Condition:   Complete profile. Preserving complete height, slightly more than half width, part of cover behind.
