Description:   Palmette antefix, attached to semi-circular cover tile. Plain band along base of plaque, ridge above. Above this two antithetic tendrils (missing rt. scroll) rise from acanthus leaf, curl in ca. horizontally, then curl out with two small tendrils on either side, curling out from acanthus leaf. Below this juncture 5-petal pendant palmette, from two-petal. Above, base of mushroom-shaped heart. For type cf. FA-48, FA-390, FA-391, FA-396.
Decoration:   Dull red paint on face.
Material:   Moderately coarse clay fired orange, with surface skin buff, scattered black mudstone inclusions, voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 7/6 core
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving lower third of antefix plaque, small part of lower edge; broken corners, above tendrils.
