Description:   Palmette antefix with horizontal plain band at bottom, plastic rib above. Above, two antithetic tendrils rise from corners of plaque, turning in nearly horizontally, before ending in double spirals, springing from stalk. Beneath center of spirals 5-petal pendant palmette with 2 leaves above; central leaf round tipped, next two very long. Above tendrils mushroom shaped heart, with tips of two at lef and one at rt. petals of palmette. Cf. FA-XXXX-48 for others.
Material:   Moderately fine clay with scattered red inclusions, fired bright pink at core, buff-tan surfaces.
Munsell Color:   Surface pinker than 10YR 7.5/3 Core
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving lower half antefix plaque, top of neck; lower edge, face to base of palmette; chipped at lower right and left edges.
