Description:   Tall 11-leaf palmette with mushroom heart. designed to fit over lateral sima. Bottom band plain with plastic rib above. Above this two antithetic tendrils rise from corners of plaque and from half furled leaf, turning in nearly horizontally and out under palmette heart. Top ends of tendril bifurcate below leaf diagonally striated. Beneath juncture 5-petal palmette pendant between two petals. Above, mushroom heart with sharply trimmed back stem; bases of 11 petals. Face of antefix slightly concave. For same type cf. FS-48 with refs., this fresher.
Material:   Moderately fine clay fired buff at surface, pink core, with scattered mudstone inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Slightly yellower than 7.5YR 7/4
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving lower two-thirds of plaque, broken at base of palmette; neck broken in back.
