Description:   Lower left corner of terracotta antefix, triangular, preserving left edge, part of top and bottom. Decorated in very shallow relief with part of a palmette and scroll to side. Of palmette one petal preserved and part of stem. Petal black, full and round not drooping. Stem red with horizontal black bar and black dot to one side. Scroll red with solid black eye. Background light. Black band outlining edge on top and side, black on underside.
A fragment of the right half of a similar tile is in storage: Lot 78-367 #24.
Material:   Yellow green Corinthian clay, fired pinkat core with numerous fine and large black inclusions. Fine surface slip. Matt black and red-brown paint.
Condition:   Fragment. 3 joining fragments giving left edge and part of cover tile. Surface badly pitted.
