Description: | Triangular antefix with sloping edges meeting at ca. 130 degree angle at top, flat ridge on upper edges. Front face flat with decoration in very low relief: palmette with five petals, painted alternatly red and black. Outward spiralled "S" shaped tendrils below the palmette, black with a narrow band at base in red. Red eye in center. Triangular shaped heart of palmette painted red, with black arc above. Edges of antefix painted red. | |
Material: | Coarse hard-fired clay with reddish brown inclusions, fired unevenly. Creamy slip on face with black and red paint. | |
